1. What quality standards do HCL products meet?
All products manufactured by HCL are certified to ISO 9001:2015 (quality management system) and ISO 2531:2009 (ductile iron pipe fittings), along with QCVN technical regulations from Vietnam’s Ministry of Construction and Ministry of Health. Several ATK valve lines have also passed AS/NZS 4020:2018 testing (Australia/New Zealand standard) for products in contact with drinking water. Our foundry in Thai Nguyen operates to ISO standards from the production stage onward.
2. What is HCL’s warranty policy?
Domestically manufactured products carry a 2-5 year warranty depending on the product line (ATK cast-iron valves and fire hydrants: 5 years; VTECO fire hydrants: 2 years). Warranty and return requests are processed within 24-72 hours of receipt.
3. Does HCL have experience with large-scale projects?
Yes. HCL has supplied materials for projects including Vinhomes Ocean Park and Grand Park, the VinFast Hai Phong plant, VSIP Bac Ninh Industrial Park, Samsung Thai Nguyen Industrial Park, and water supply/drainage systems across many provinces nationwide. HCL currently serves more than 10,000 customers across all 63 provinces and cities in Vietnam, including provincial water utilities, investors, construction contractors, and industrial parks.
4. Does HCL manufacture domestically, or only import and distribute?
Both. HCL manufactures in-house at its foundry in Thai Nguyen (250 tons/month capacity) and its fabrication and assembly plant in Quat Dong, Hanoi, under its own ATK and VTECO brands. HCL also holds exclusive import rights for select premium product lines: Janz water meters (Portugal) and Hidroten automatic air release valves (Spain).
5. Is HCL a member of any industry association?
HCL is a member of all three regional Water Supply and Drainage Associations covering Northern, Central-Highlands, and Southern Vietnam, and regularly participates in major industry exhibitions such as Vietnam Water Week.
