HCL on VTV1: A Digital Transformation Journey from Factory Floor to Finished Product

On August 14, 2026, HCL Investment and Production JSC was honored to be featured by Vietnam Television (VTV1) in a special report introducing the company’s digital transformation journey to millions of viewers nationwide.

The report aired during VTV1’s midday news segment as part of the “Ready for Innovation” series, which highlights the digital transformation efforts of Vietnamese enterprises. It marks a proud milestone, recognizing the methodical steps HCL has consistently taken in modernizing production, improving product quality, and strengthening corporate governance.

From the Machine Shop to the Finished Product

VTV1’s cameras captured the full production process at HCL’s factory: from precision machining on modern CNC systems, to quality inspection of every component, to the finishing and dispatch of the company’s flagship products – cast-iron industrial valves, water supply and drainage pipe fittings, water meters, and fire hydrants. These core product lines are what allow HCL to affirm its position in Vietnam’s water supply, drainage, and fire protection infrastructure support industry. On the CNC shop floor, the cameras also captured the moment an HCL representative held up a freshly completed water meter body – an image demonstrating the company’s in-house capability to machine high-precision measuring equipment on its own modern domestic production line.

Speaking in the report, Mr. Le Duy Hao, Deputy General Director of HCL Investment and Production JSC, introduced the company’s development direction, in which investment in technology, people, and production processes is identified as a key pillar for improving competitiveness and ensuring consistent quality at scale.

HCL Products: Durable Materials, Precise in Every Detail

It is no coincidence that products bearing the HCL brand are trusted and chosen by many investors and contractors for water supply, drainage, and fire protection infrastructure projects nationwide. This is the result of a closed-loop production process that is tightly controlled at every stage:

  • Industrial valves (cast-iron valves, gate valves, check valves…): cast and machined on modern CNC systems, ensuring high precision and durable operation under pressure and harsh conditions.
  • Water supply and drainage pipe fittings: a wide range of types and sizes, flexibly meeting the design requirements of civil, industrial, and urban infrastructure projects.
  • Water meters: high-precision measuring products bearing the “Made in Vietnam” brand, precisely machined on HCL’s own CNC line, ensuring durability and measurement accuracy.
  • Fire hydrants: manufactured to strict technical standards, a critical link in fire protection systems, where reliability must come first.

Before leaving the factory, every product undergoes technical inspection, pressure testing, and strict quality control – because for HCL, product quality is not only a commitment to customers, but also a responsibility toward the safety of the projects and the people who use them.

Digital Transformation: The Foundation for Consistent Quality and Fast Service

A key highlight of the report is HCL’s digitalization of production management. The company has deployed a real-time production order management system, enabling tight control from planning, material allocation, and resource distribution across departments (such as the machining department), through to product completion and handover.

As a result, HCL has not only improved internal operating efficiency but also delivered direct benefits to customers and partners:

  • Transparent, on-commitment delivery schedules: orders are tracked in real time end-to-end, allowing HCL to proactively keep customers and partners informed of progress.
  • Fast response and request handling: centralized data enables sales, engineering, and production teams to coordinate smoothly, shortening processing time for orders and specific technical requirements.
  • A foundation for scaling up: standardized processes lay the groundwork for HCL to continue expanding its production capacity, meeting large orders and the market’s increasingly demanding technical requirements.

A Commitment to Standing by Customers and Partners

Appearing on VTV1 is a great honor, but for HCL it is also a reminder and a motivation to keep investing more systematically – not only in management technology, but also in people, production lines, and after-sales service – in order to deliver high-quality industrial valves, pipe fittings, water meters, and fire protection equipment that accompany the development of Vietnam’s infrastructure.

HCL would like to extend its sincere thanks to Vietnam Television (VTV1) and the production crew for taking the time to film and faithfully portray the company’s innovation journey. And above all, thank you to our customers and partners for your continued trust and companionship – it is this trust that motivates us to keep improving our products and services every day.

We invite our partners and customers to watch the full report to learn more about HCL’s innovation journey – and to join us in writing the next chapters on the path of sustainable development.
